These terms and conditions govern your use of all websites, applications, manuscript and publishing services, and products provided by JMRO. By accessing or using our websites or any of our services, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional guidelines or policies posted on our websites. The Terms and Conditions may be modified at any time, and the changes will take effect immediately, unless otherwise specified. We may also suspend or discontinue services at our discretion. Your continued use of our services following any modifications to these terms indicates your acceptance of the changes.
Copyright and Permissions
For accepted articles, authors retain full copyright of their published work. All articles are published under open access terms and are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0).
Author Responsibilities
When submitting content to our services, all submissions must be original content that you created, and anonymous submissions are not permitted. Authors must possess all necessary permissions to grant JMRO the right to publish your article.Content submitted to our services must meet certain standards. We prohibit content that is illegal or infringes on others’ rights, as well as content that is defamatory, abusive, hateful, pornographic, threatening, or vulgar. Consequently, JMRO maintains the right to monitor all submitted content and edit or remove content at our discretion. We reserve the right to exercise editorial control over all content on our services.
Exclusive Submission Policy
When submitting an article to JMRO, authors agree to submit exclusively to our journal. Authors may not simultaneously submit the same article to other journals or publications. This exclusivity requirement remains in effect until either JMRO officially rejects the article or the author formally withdraws it from consideration by notifying the Editorial Office. However, once an article has been accepted for publication by JMRO, the author may no longer withdraw it, and the article will proceed to publication.
Using Our Services
Permitted Use
Anyone may freely download, read, share, adapt, reuse, or quote text from our articles without needing permission from our authors or JMRO, as long as the original published version is properly and clearly cited. The use of automated programs such as bots, crawlers, or scrapers to download or index our content is allowed, however you may not harvest personal information for unsolicited communications or engage in activities that disrupt our services or other users’ access.
Commercial Activities
Without explicit approval from JMRO, you may not use our services to publish or distribute advertisements, solicit other users, conduct business activities, or distribute author information for personal gain.
Additional Provisions
Links to Third-Party Sites
While our services may contain links to external sites, JMRO does not endorse or take responsibility for content on these third-party sites. Users access external content at their own risk.
Password Security
Registered users must provide accurate information and maintain the security of their accounts. Each registration is intended for individual use only. You are responsible for maintaining password confidentiality and must promptly notify us of any unauthorized access. JMRO cannot be held liable for password misuse outside our control.

You agree to protect and defend JMRO and its team (including directors, editors, employees, agents, suppliers, and licensors) against any legal claims from third parties. This includes covering all costs, damages, and reasonable legal fees that result from either your violation of these Terms and Conditions or your use of our services, content, or submissions
Authorship and AI Technology
JMRO reserves the right to change, modify, add or remove portions of theseTerms and Conditions at its sole discretion at any time and without prior notice. Please check these Terms and Conditions periodically for any modifications. Your continued use of any Service following the posting of any changes will mean that you have accepted and agreed to the changes.
JMRO follows the guidance of COPE on the use of Large Language Models (LLM) and Artificial Intelligence (AI)-assisted technologies in manuscript preparation, in which authors bear full responsibility for all content in their manuscript, including any data or content generated by AI tools. Authors who use AI tools in manuscript preparation must also disclose this information to the Editorial Office at the time of submission.
